Everything you need to know

Do I need a licence if I rent a boat with a skipper?

No. The professional skipper operates the boat and is responsible for the navigation. You don't need any licence.

Is the skipper included in the price?

It depends on the boat: on yachts and catamarans it is usually included; on motorboats it is sometimes added separately. Our proposal always shows the full price with the skipper.

Can we choose the route?

Yes. Tell us what you would like (Cala Macarella, Cala Turqueta or Cala Mitjana…) and the skipper adapts it to the day's wind so you are always in the calmest cove.

Which port do we leave from?

Usually from the port of Maó, Ciutadella or Fornells, depending on the boat and the area you want to explore. Tell us where you are staying and we will suggest the most convenient departure.

Should we tip the skipper?

It is not compulsory. If the day went well, a tip is customary, but it is entirely up to you.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If the skipper decides it is not safe to go out, we offer you another date or a refund according to the contract terms. Your safety comes first.
