How much does it cost to hire a luxury yacht in Ibiza?

The price depends on the type of yacht, the season and the number of days. As a general guide: sailing yachts and motor yachts 40-50 ft from €1,500/day in mid-season; luxury catamarans from €2,500/day; premium motor yachts 50-60 ft from €3,500/day. Fuel, skipper, provisions and port fees are added on top. We provide the full breakdown before you confirm — no surprises.

What is the APA and how does it work?

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an on-board expenses fund — fuel, port fees, provisions, mooring — deposited at the start of the charter, from which the skipper draws as needed. At the end of the trip, accounts are settled and any surplus is refunded or the difference charged. It typically amounts to 20-30% of the base charter price. We explain exactly how it works before you sign anything.

Do I need a boating licence to hire a yacht with a skipper?

No. With a professional skipper included you don't need any qualification. The skipper is responsible for the vessel and navigation — you simply enjoy the experience. It's the most common arrangement for luxury charters in Ibiza.

How far in advance should I book a luxury yacht in Ibiza?

For July and August, the best yachts are booked 3-6 months in advance. In June and September you can often find availability with 4-8 weeks' notice. If you have very specific dates or a particular yacht in mind, the sooner the better — we'll secure it for you.

Can I book just the yacht, or also the skipper and provisions?

You can book the full package or just what you need. We handle the yacht, the licensed skipper, provisions and catering, water toys, beach club reservations and any extras you want. Coordinating everything together is our speciality.

What is the difference between booking with SeaTime and an online platform?

On a platform you see photos and prices. With SeaTime you talk to people who know every boat, have sailed in Ibiza and negotiate the price on your behalf. If anything goes wrong on board during the charter, we are your direct contact — not a support ticket form.
