FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know

Do I need a licence to rent a motorboat in Mallorca?

+
It depends on the boat's length and engine power. If you don't have a licence, we include a professional skipper: you relax while they handle the navigation and pick the best spots.

What is the difference between a motorboat and a RIB?

+
A motorboat offers more space, shade and comfort for groups. A RIB is lighter and more agile, gets into small coves and is usually better value for smaller groups.

Which port do we leave from?

+
Mostly from Palma (Club de Mar and Real Club Náutico) and Puerto Portals in Calvià. Depending on the boat, we can also depart from Port Adriano, Andratx, Alcúdia or Cala d'Or. Tell us where you are staying and we will suggest the most convenient port.

What is included in a motorboat rental?

+
The rental, mandatory insurance and safety equipment. Fuel, skipper and extras are agreed separately and itemised before you confirm.

Can we anchor in any cove?

+
Posidonia seagrass is protected in the Balearic Islands, so boats may only anchor on sand or on authorised buoys. Cabrera National Park requires a navigation and anchoring permit in advance. Your skipper and our team take care of all of it.

How far in advance should I book?

+
For July and August, 3 to 4 weeks ahead. In June and September 1 to 2 weeks is usually enough. Message us and we confirm availability the same day.
